Galentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 13th to honor friendships. It was created and popularized by Amy Poehler's fictional character Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation, who described it as "ladies celebrating ladies." Gather your closest pals and have an unforgettable Galentine’s day celebration.
Here are some of our favourite ways to celebrate the day:
Cook a meal together
Find out what everyone would like to eat on that day and go grocery shopping. Cooking together inspires conversation and relaxation.
Plan a Zoom party
Are your best friends far away? Plan some fun activities you all can do over zoom. Send a link in advance and ask them to block off an hour or two that day. Talk, drink, snack, catchup and have a fun time.
Host an anti-Valentine’s Day party
Who said you can't throw a party on Valentine's Day when you're single? Throw a big soiree with all your closest friends and celebrate being single together.
Staff Picks for a fun Galentine’s Day
Currently obsessing over our Champagne & Roses candle - I love how sweet it smells. Kind of reminds me of my favourite dessert shop down the road.
I love my Namaste candle. It’s a subtle floral scent that does not overwhelm my nose.
